This is not just a simple tour; it is a complete journey into the history of Ancient Greece guided by our experienced, history-loving guides that will be accompanying you throughout.
Day One starts with departing from Athens, to reach Ancient Olympia, after a stop at the Corinth Canal, a tour of the magnificent ancient city of Mycenae and a visit to the popular Epidaurus ancient theatre. The day closes with dinner at the hotel in Ancient Olympia, where we stay overnight.
Day Two features a morning tour at the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia, the homeland of the Olympic Games. We afterwards leave Olympia for our hotel in Delphi, where we dine and stay overnight.
Day Three’s character is more mystical, thanks to the visit to the ancient pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, “the navel of the Earth,” and an acquaintance with the history of the oracle. The trip to Meteora and arrival at the hotel in Kalambaka closes the day.
Day Four time-travels us to the Byzantium and the breathtaking rock formation of Meteora, part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The tour includes a visit to two of the monasteries nestled in the steep rocks. Our return to Athens completes the tour.
