2-day tour in Delphi & Meteora
This 2-day tour offers a wider view of the Greek inland, as well as a wider view to Greek history, through a journey across central Greece.
Day One focuses on the ancient world, with a visit to the ancient pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, “the navel of the Earth,” and an acquaintance with the history of the oracle. After lunch (if selected upon reservation), the journey continues. We rest in Kalambaka, with an overnight hotel stay.
Day Two time-travels us to the Byzantium and the breathtaking rock formation of Meteora, part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The tour includes a visit to two of the monasteries nestled in the steep rocks.
